Tony Flowers is an internationally acclaimed illustrator and artist, and he knows that he's very lucky to be living out his childhood dream of being able to colour in all day. He has a Masters degree in Visual Communication and is thus a keen student of visual literacy. Tony's drawings are loved in Japan for their detail and humour, and he has won an award in the USA for his street chalk art. His most highly valued prize to date has been from the Oshima Picture Book Museum in Toyama, Japan, for his hand made pop-up book Gaijin Holiday.
With author Nick Falk, Tony has illustrated the much loved silly and absurd Saurus Street series, Billiy is a Dragon, Samurai vs Ninja, and How to... series. Tony illustrated picturebook Hello, written by Joanna Karmel, which received an award as a Notable Book at the CBCA Awards 2017.
