Tohby Riddle is the creator of numerous well-loved picture books, two cartoon collections and a novel – and the illustrator of the multi-award-winning Word Spy books. Recent books include the ambitious 128-page picture book Unforgotten, which has been published in five languages, and 2015’s The Greatest Gatsby, which presents the fundamentals of grammar as visual information.Originally trained in art and architecture, Tohby has won awards for literature and design and has presented talks and workshops across Australia and at festivals in cities such as Edinburgh and New Delhi. Tohby loves ideas – and using words, images and visual information to express them. He believes that good work comes from good thinking and from learning how to express one’s self.
